Wix site: how to install your BeerMenus Web Menu

Note: If you use a builder other than Wix (e.g. GoDaddy, Squarespace, etc.), this isn't the right article for you. Please find the correct installation guide here.

Here's the step-by-step guide to installing your Web Menu on a Wix site.

Step 1: Head to your BeerMenus.com page to find your install code. Here are instructions for that.

Step 2: Login to you Wix.com account here.

Step 3: This brings you to your Sites dashboard. Hover over the one where you'd like to add your Web Menu and click the "Select & Edit Site" button, which brings you to your main dashboard.

Step 4: Click "Edit Site" on the top right of the page:

Step 5: Click the "Add Elements" button on the top left of the page:

Step 6: This expands a sidebar menu. Near the middle of that menu you'll see "Embed Code." Click that, and then click "Embed HTML."

Step 7: A new code block will pop up on the screen, like below. Paste the Web Menu code (which upi copied up in step 1) into the code block box, then click "Update."

Step 8: If the code block is too small, you can resize or move it on the page using the 8 white circle handles around the outside of the block. Make sure everything is centered on the web page for the best results.

Note: on your live site, the Web Menu will scroll within the size of the code block, so don't worry if you don't see the whole list all at once.

Step 9: On the top right hand side of the page click "Save" to make sure you don't lose any changes. You can click "Preview" (next to "Save") if you'd like to check out the menu before publishing.

Step 10: If everything looks good, then click "Publish"—your Web Menu is officially installed!

Step 11 (optional): If you've created separate Web Menu profiles, repeat the steps for your other Web Menus.
