I'm getting a "You don't have access to TV Menus" error on my TV screen. What does that mean?
Most common: your 14-day free trial expired, so you need to sign up for BeerMenus Pro to regain access to TV Menus.
Here's how to do that:
Step 1: Click this link.
Step 2: Click "Upgrade now":
Step 3: This brings you to our payment page, where you can sign up for TV Menus access for $49/month or $499/year:
If you click the link in step 1 and it doesn't work, it just means you're not logged in. You can do so from that error page.
Once you log in just start from Step 1!
Less common: If you already use BeerMenus Pro but see this message, it just means you need to add TV Menus to the plan you already have. Here's how to do that:
Step 1: Click this link.
Step 2: Click the TV Menus link beneath the relevant business:
Step 3: Click the button to either add TV Menus to your plan or start a TV Menu trial.

I'm getting an error that says my TV Menu doesn't exist. What does that mean?
Almost certainly it means you mistakenly entered your TV Menu ID wrong. You can learn how to find your TV Menu ID in the next section.

How do I find my TV Menu ID?
Step 1: Click this link, which brings you to your My Businesses page
If the link does not work, it means you are not logged in. If you need to log in, you can do so from that page.
Once you log in, click the Step 1 link again.
Step 2a: If you're on your phone, tap the TV Menus link beneath the correct business:
Step 2b: If you're on desktop, click the TV Menus tile beneath the correct business:
Step 3: This brings you to your TV Menus tab, where your TV Menus are clearly laid out for you:
You can also navigate to your TV Menu ID at any time by heading over to your TV Menus tab. Here's how to get there:
Step 1: Go to your Update Menu page (the page where you add/remove beers) and click the TV Menus tab:
Step 2: There's no step 3. Your TV Menu ID(s) will be visible on that page:
My TV Menus tab doesn't look like the screen grabs (I don't see any TV Menu profiles or TV Menu IDs)
One of two things is going on:
- You don't have access to TV Menus because of your plan/payment status.
- You do have access, but you just haven't created a TV Menu profile yet.
You can tell which situation you're in by looking at your TV Menus tab. If your TV Menus tab includes a button that says [+ New TV Menu], then you just haven't created a new TV Menu yet. Your membership status is just fine.
Solution: You just need to create a TV Menu profile. To do this, click the [+ New TV Menu] button and start customizing! One important note: we can take care of customizing for you.
If you do not see that [+ New TV Menu Button] and instead see a button to either sign up for BeerMenus Pro, add TV Menus to your plan, or start a 14-day trial, then you do not have access to TV Menus.
Solution: click the button to either sign up for BeerMenus TV Menus or restart a trial. (You're only eligible to restart a trial if you haven't trialed in at least 6 months.)

Do I only have one TV Menu ID?
TV Menu IDs correspond to particular TV Menu profiles. If you have only one TV Menu profile (which is the most common case), then you'll only have one TV Menu ID.
However, you can manage as many TV Menu profiles as you'd like through BeerMenus, so it's possible you'll have more than one TV Menu ID:
I have more than one TV Menu ID. Which one should I use?
Use the one that corresponds to the menu you'd like to use on your TV.
If you're not sure which to enter, you can preview the menu by clicking the "View" button:
Note: It isn't a big deal if you input the wrong menu ID in at first. You can just push the back button on your Fire TV remote, hit the "left" button to enter the id number field, press Select, and then input a different ID number. It only takes a couple seconds to do that.
How do I exit my menu?
Using your Fire TV remote, just push the back button. This brings you back to the screen where you input your TV Menu ID. To relaunch your menu, just click the Select button on your Fire TV remote. If you'd like to enter a different Menu ID number, just hit the "left" button to enter the id number field, press Select, and then input a different ID number.
I don't like how my menu looks, can I update it?
Absolutely!
But you do not update your TV Menu design through the BeerMenus Fire TV app—you do so through your TV Menu settings on your BeerMenus page (desktop only).
To access your TV Menu settings, go to the TV Menus tab on your BeerMenus page and click "Settings" next to your TV Menu:
There are many settings you can play around with there.
