Fire TV App Settings
In this doc we will show how to:
- Immediately Launch the last used menu when the app opens
- Open the app automatically after the Fire TV restarts
- Keep the menu from sleeping/keeping the menu set to always on
Getting Started:
Step 1: Open the BeerMenus TV App and select the settings tab on the bottom right of the screen.
Step 2: Check the boxes to Immediately launch the last used menu when app opens and to Open app automatically after the Fire TV restarts
Step 3: To keep the menu always on (keep the menu from sleeping)
- Open Fire TV Settings
- Select Preferences
- Select Data Usage Monitoring
- Set Still Watching to OFF
This prevents Fire TV from pausing or interrupting the menu after long periods of inactivity.
Step 4: To enable auto-open after Fire TV restarts
- Open Fire TV Settings
- Select Preferences
- Select Featured Content
- Set Allow Video Autoplay to OFF
This helps ensure the BeerMenus app launches automatically when Fire TV restarts.
